JUL 20 - AUG 17 2025  • 29 DAYS •  10 GUESTS - Sold Out!

Journey to the epicentre of marine biodiversity on a month-long adventure to exotic Indonesia. Explore the underwater riches of North Sulawesi, Lembeh Strait, Komodo and Alor on a diver’s dream expedition. We are combining many of Indonesia’s hotspots for a diverse range of dynamic reefs, and an incredible variety of marine life and dive sites. Enjoy some of the world’s best muck diving, go in search of spectral tarsiers and a troop of endemic, black-crested macaques. Visit spectacular rice fields and waterfalls and experience authentic Balinese culture in the Sidemen Valley. Visit bustling markets and meet the friendly locals; savour delicious local cuisine and get pampered while staying at boutique resorts. Explore the remote volcanic islands between Sumbawa and Flores onboard a privately chartered yacht. Come face to face with Komodo Dragons and swim alongside majestic manta rays and the world’s largest fish- the whale shark. Conclude your journey with a visit to one of Indonesia’s hidden gems. Uncover world class diving on the remote island of Alor from the comfort of an exclusively hired boutique resort.

Lembeh Strait is considered one of the top critter and muck diving destinations in the world. Beneath the calm surface, on a dark volcanic sand floor, find a staggering array of weird and bizarre creatures. Famous for its diversity of rare and unusual marine life, search for creatures such as the ghost pipefish, ribbon eel, mantis shrimp, flamboyant cuttlefish, hairy frogfish, scorpionfish, stargazer, mimic octopus, and many more. At Tangkoko National Park encounter the world’s largest concentration of rare, black-crested macaques; see hornbills fly overhead and get close to a family of spectral tarsiers, the worlds tiniest and cutest primates. Spend a day exploring the underwater riches of Bangka Island, en-route to Siladen Resort and Spa.

The Bunaken Islands Marine Park in North Sulawesi is famous for its crystal-clear waters, steep and dramatic walls covered in giant sea fans, sponges, pristine coral gardens, and an amazing variety of marine animals. Expect reefs teeming with life, countless giant green turtles and little critters that expertly camouflage themselves to blend with their surroundings. In 1997 the giant prehistoric Coelacanth, thought to be extinct 400 million years ago, was rediscovered here. After a full day of diving activities, treat yourself to a massage, swim in the pool, savour delicious Italian/Indonesian fusion cuisine, sit in front of your beachfront villa and enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset behind Manadotua volcano.

Travel to Sidemen valley and explore the lush green rice paddies in the foothills of towering Mount Agung volcano while staying at a beautiful boutique resort. Walk through terraced rice fields, visit a bustling local market, learn how to cook a traditional Indonesian dish, enjoy an energetic downhill bike ride with scenic views, and witness the traditional Balinese way of life.

Fly to remote Bima in Eastern Sumbawa and board one of Indonesia’s premier yachts, the Tiare, a luxurious yet traditional Indonesian phinisi. Indulge in nine days of uninterrupted diving on a bespoke itinerary, exploring some of the most exhilarating sites within the Coral Triangle. Search for majestic whale sharks in Saleh Bay. Dive and snorkel along vibrant reefs, kayak through crystalline waters, and trek across volcanic islands as you sail westward towards Flores. Seek out graceful manta rays and come face to face with the legendary Komodo dragons in Komodo National Park.

Conclude this unforgettable expedition with a visit to the remote island of Alor. Enjoy both world-class muck dives on Kalabahi Bay's black sand slopes and breathtaking pristine coral reefs in the Pantar Strait, from the exclusively hired Alami resort. The Pantar Strait forms part of a significant marine mammal migration route, offering opportunities to observe a vatiety of marine mammals.

This was our first trip with Wild Earth Expeditions, and it exceeded all our expectations!  Diving in Indonesia had been on our bucket list for many years and was a dream come true. Thomas and Sabine managed to enhance an already spectacular experience. Their attention to detail was a 10 out of 10 on every aspect of the trip.   Our 8 days onboard the SY Coralia took the whole experience to another level…. It was FANTASTIC!
Our adventure was enhanced by the very special group of fellow divers.
Looking forward to our next trip with Wild Earth Expeditions.
