13 OCT - 01 NOV 2028 • 21 DAYS • 14 GUESTS
Journey through some of Indonesia's most remote and spectacular marine wilderness areas on an extraordinary expedition from Halmahera to Triton Bay and Raja Ampat. Combining vibrant coral reefs, whale sharks, manta rays, dramatic island landscapes and luxury accommodations both on land and at sea, this adventure showcases a side of Indonesia few travelers ever experience.
Our expedition begins at Kusu Resort in southern Halmahera, an untouched corner of the Coral Triangle renowned for its pristine reefs, colorful coral gardens and remarkable marine biodiversity. Spend five full days diving and snorkeling healthy reefs virtually untouched by tourism, where massive schools of fish, swirling fusiliers, turtles, reef sharks and vibrant soft corals create unforgettable underwater experiences. Above the surface, lush volcanic islands, traditional villages and spectacular sunsets provide a fitting backdrop to this remote paradise.
From Halmahera, continue to Kaimana and board the luxurious SY Coralia Dua for an unforgettable voyage through Triton Bay and Raja Ampat. Spend three days exploring Triton Bay, one of Indonesia's most exciting emerging dive destinations, famous for its kaleidoscopic soft coral gardens, towering sea fans and frequent whale shark encounters around traditional bagan fishing platforms.
As we cruise north through the waters of West Papua, discover hidden lagoons, dramatic limestone coastlines and remote reefs around Namatote, Momon and the Pisang Islands. These seldom-explored regions offer exceptional diving and snorkeling opportunities.
The journey culminates among the world-famous reefs of Raja Ampat. Explore the spectacular seascapes of Misool, cruise through the iconic limestone islands of Penemu and experience the legendary marine abundance of Dampier Strait. Encounter reef and oceanic manta rays, wobbegong sharks, turtles, dolphins, schooling fish and some of the richest coral ecosystems on Earth.
Designed for divers, snorkelers, photographers and ocean lovers alike, this expedition combines luxury, exploration and world-class wildlife encounters while venturing beyond the well-travelled routes to discover the hidden wonders of eastern Indonesia.

“This was our first trip with Wild Earth Expeditions. It was incredible! Thomas curated a remarkable tour of Indonesia for us. He and Sabine were such enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides! Their passion for the sea and the delight they took in introducing us to an incredible variety of ocean critters made the trip truly memorable! Our families now share so many cherished memories of the last month! The slideshow that Sabine created is a wonderful memento of the trip.
